IEEE/ACM CCGrid 2014

14th IEEE/ACM International Symposium on Cluster, Cloud and Grid Computing

May 26-29, 2014 -- Chicago, IL, USA

Call for Posters and Demos

CCGrid 2014 aims at presenting the latest breakthroughs in Cluster, Cloud, and Grid technologies for both academic and industry professionals. Authors are invited to submit their research work as a poster or demo to the CCGrid 2014 conference, both of which will be included in the conference proceedings. During the conference, posters and demos will be presented during the same session. Additionally, authors may submit posters for publication on the web.

SUBMISSION

Posters can be submitted at https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ccgrid2014posters. Submissions must be received by February 24, 2014 (see below for other important dates).

See “Types of Posters” below for details on the exact materials that authors must submit to be considered for the conference’s poster/demo session.

TOPICS OF INTEREST

The topics of interest are the same as in the Call for Papers.

TYPES OF POSTERS

Participants submitting proceedings-published posters/demos are required to submit a short paper of 2 pages describing the poster/demo content, the research supporting it, and the relevance and importance to the cluster, cloud, and grid computing community. If accepted, this short paper will be published in the proceedings of the conference.

Participants submitting web-published posters are required to submit a short 1-page extended abstract. These abstracts will not be included in the conference proceedings.

Both proceedings-published and web-published posters will be displayed during the conference. We encourage accepted authors of demos to prepare a poster to accompany their demo. All accepted posters (including posters prepared for demos) will be posted on the conference website.

For the final camera-ready version, authors with accepted papers may purchase additional pages at the following rates: 100 USD for each of the first two additional pages; 200 USD for each of the third and fourth additional pages. See formatting templates for details:

Demo submissions may include an additional 1-page appendix describing the specific contents of the demo that conference attendees would see. Any special technical requirements for the demo should also be described in this appendix. The contents of this appendix will be used to evaluate whether the demo is a good fit for CCGrid 2014, but will not be included in the proceedings.
